individual needs. Working with the physician, our pharmacist can prepare a
“customized” medication in a special compounding laboratory, using the latest
techniques and devices available. Our pharmacist compounds the medication, following
the physician’s request, into a special dosage form or delivery system suited
for the patient. For example, our pharmacist can prepare a medication using
several unique delivery systems, such as, for those patients who
are having a difficult time swallowing a capsule, an oral suspension or a suppository instead, or prepare a transdermal gel, cream or ointment for dermatological use.
